Workshop: Chinese Ancient History

Chinese ancient history is a big novel much more fascinating and gripping than the story of Game of Thrones. Along with the alternation of dynasties is the ups and downs of the civilisation of the nation. And such civilization is successive by integrating diverse cultures.

This event would provide you with a general understanding of ancient history of China, with impression on the different dynasties and the typical representative of each main dynasty.

After the event, you will think about Mind dynasty and Jingdezhen (景德镇), a town known as the Porcelain capital in China, when you hear Jay Chou’s song Blue and White Porcelain (青花瓷). You will also think about Qing dynasty and the Empress Dowager Cixi (慈禧太后) when you hear the Peking opera.
